Backflow Prevention Units

Backflow Prevention UnitTo protect potable water supplies the NPS Type AB Air Gap Breaktank and Pump assembly provides maximum backflow protection when used with appliances involving;

Fluid Category 4, with a concentration of toxic substances found in chemicals, pesticides or environmental organisms of potential health significance.

Fluid Category 5, containing faecal material or other human waste, butchery or other animal waste or pathogens from any other source.

The compact, self contained construction of the breaktank assembly makes it particularly suitable for installations where space may be at a premium in plants, depots, offices, laboratories, domestic premises and within irrigation systems.

Available as stand alone units or tailor made for bespoke multi-installations, the NPS Breaktank Assembly can be easily installed using standard plumbing fittings.

WRAS ApprovedThe selected pump is coupled with a unit for pump command and control. This single phase device is offered with a standard 3 pin plug for immediate use.

A further benefit is an increase in available pressure through the boosting effect of the pump.
